Note we are supplying the LATEST revision with improved PCB design and provision for a hard wired vDSL extension. These faceplates are backwards compatible with all ADSL services and are the only approved vDSL faceplate available on the market.

The internet is already rife with incorrect speculation with regards to this faceplate, to clear up some points.....

(1) The faceplate has NOT been available via Pressac distributors prior to today (11/01/2012). We are among the first (if not the first!) to receive shipment. (We first had the pre production sample nearly two years ago now!!)


(2)The modem port is RJ45 and will accept RJ11 too. The “BT unit” is exactly the same as the ones we are now selling minus the screen printed Openreach branding (they are made by the same people-Pressac!). If the opening was RJ11 sized no RJ45 plug would get close let alone be a “tight fit”!! What actually makes some cables a tight fit is the moulded boots on RJ45 connectors (RJ11 rarely have these although all BT home hubs are supplied with cables that have moulded plugs which make them tight too!!!).
