You will see we have 3 main BT to RJ45 patch kit category types :-

(1) Standard http://www.bttorj45.com/shop2.php?id=1
(2) Broad Band http://www.bttorj45.com/shop2.php?id=38
(3) Privacy http://www.bttorj45.com/shop2.php?id=39

The standard kits patch one telephone line to up to 4 seperate locations on your network cabling. Each kit comes with all leads & converters required to do this. Each telephone connected can listen in to the conversation or make it's own call with the others being able to listen in if required (in the case of multiple user kits-the single user kit can only have one telephone connected!).

The broad band kits do the same as the standard kits but instead of standard RJ45>BT converters these kits come with RJ45 ADSL filters, this enables you to plug both a telephone AND broadband modem/router in. Note you can only have ONE ADSL modem connected to the service at any one time. These are especially usefull if your telephone line comes in to the building in an awkwrad place(a basement for example) and you'd like to plug your wireless router in on the top floor.

The privacy kits do the same as the standard kits with the added benefit of line capturing, eg, on the two user kit if user one picks up the phone to make a call user 2 will NOT get dial tone on their phone, they also can not listen in to any conversation. These kits ARE compatible with ADSL services but you MUST plug an ADSL filter in first (or use an ADSL faceplate).
