Installing a BT 80B RF3
The BT 80B RF3 can help line stability. To install one it must be the first item on your line (before the NTE5). Officially speaking you are not permitted to touch this wiring. If you look at the 80B RF3 you will see two sets of terminals, one are screw terminals and the other are IDC. Both are marked A, B & E.

Now you need to remove the cover off your BT master socket, we will assume this is of the NTE5 type(if it isn't then we advise you consider one as the latest version we sell has an additional filter than can improve ADSL speeds by over 1mb!
If you look at the rear of the NTE5 you will see two terminals marked A & B.

Note which colour goes where and gently remove these wires. Now connect these wires into the correponding A & B connections on the BT 80B RF3. Connect these to the screw terminals, if your master socket used IDC terminals you will need to strip some of the insulation from the wire.
Next using CW1308 cable connect a second pair of wires to the A & B IDC connections of the BT 80B RF3. Connect the other end of these wires to the A & B connections on the NTE5 (where the wires originally went to).
You should now have a BT 80B RF3 wired in series to your NTE5.
