This faceplate gives you the same benefits as the NTE5/BT Broadband Accelerator bell wire filter with the ADDITION of ADSL filtering!

The new vDSL filter from BT/Openreach is the next generation ADSL faceplate for the new super fast ADSL services that are being rolled out across the UK. No wiring is required as the faceplate fits in between the existing front lower faceplate and the rear of the NTE5 socket. Centralised ADSL filtering is then provided with an RJ45/RJ11 socket providing the connection for your modem/router. At present there is no provision for a HARD WIRED ADSL extension off this faceplate (see NTE-2005 faceplate for details) however an NTE2000 ADSL extension kit can be used for an ADSL extension from the master socket location. We expect these faceplates to be available early 2011.
